For all of you that have a sparked interest in what my brother posted about the results of a test that Caleb had to have, we are here to tell. Early in December, Caleb had a routine visit to the pediatrician and they had heard a heart murmur. They were sure that it was nothing to worry about and figured that it would go away. They wanted to make an appointment for early in January to make sure that it did indeed go away, and also to check his weight for it had not climbed in the last couple months. Not wanting to worry anyone (believe me I was worrying enough for everyone) we chose to keep this to ourselves. Come January we took Caleb back into the docs and although his weight had climbed almost 2 lbs, they still heard the murmur loud and clear. The next step was to set up an echocardiogram with the heart center to see if Caleb had a hole in his heart. They must have been busy because it took an agonizing week before they could see him. We then had to wait for the Kootenai Medical Center to send the test to the pediatric heart specialist at Sacred Heart to analyz and give the results to Caleb’s pediatrician. Finally the results came back, and Caleb has a healthy whole heart. What a relief! I apologize to all I have not told, but I am sure you understand we didnt want to burden everyone with unneeded worry until we knew for sure. The most important thing is that Caleb is a trooper, with all that has gone on since he was born, he seems to pull though everything just fine.
JJ, here. Just thought I would let everyone know that Shay, Nick , and Caleb are still alive. Just follow the moose track to Post Falls and there they be. Please feel free to harass and shame Shayleen into posting more blog posts on her site. Maybe Shay would like to give an update on how well Caleb’s tests went the other week (wink, wink, hint, hint).
Also, I made her a new Facebook profile so she can get out of the teenie bop MySpace crowd. hahaha

We hope you all had a good Christmas. Ours was great, Caleb’s first. Although he wasn’t really into unwrapping the presents, he sure loved eating the wrapping paper. We had a great time, my brother and sister came over with their families as well and Nicks parents and we opened presents and scarfed down a really good breakfast. We did miss Jacob but realized his other family was anxious to see him on Christmas morning. So we are just hoping you had a memorable Christmas and of course a Happy New Year! God Bless
I know some of you are wondering why I have not done much with my website or for that fact my myspace, let me just explain……………………………..JJ—-HELP. I admit to being computer challenged and my poor brother has to walk me through everything but I promise that when he gets back from New York, I will get down to business (well if he has time of course.) So until then, family and friends, please bare with me.
Wow, is it me or is this Christmas season flying by. This is the first year with Caleb and I am exhausted! Just wanted to thank everyone for coming to my goody and ornament exchange. It was a great success, we had more goodies than I know what to do with. Actually I have already given 3 boxes full of goodies away. Well I think that I just may make this a holiday tradition, so keep your eyes peeled next year. Thanks again ladies!
