Well this summer has flown by,  I can not believe it.  Our 4th of July party was a huge smash hit, about 40 or so people joined us for a bbq and fireworks display.  The cops visited quiet a few neighbors but never came to our house, surprisingly because I think we caused the most trouble!! LOL.  Nick and I just celebrated our 7th anniversary, but couldn’t do much since Caleb got his leg broken by falling off a teeter-totter.  Lets just say that it has been challenging having an active toddler with a cast up to his butt and an 8 month old.  I spend most my time just trying to keep them occupied and not bored. We are getting into canning season and I have already canned 6 different kinds of jam and need to get the hot pickled green beans done soon.  Nick is gearing up for hunting season.  Can I just say “I hate hunting season!”

Today is Nick’s birthday, he is a whopping 27 years old. He took the day off so we could work on our bathroom, it is coming along. This weekend is a bbq for him and all his lineman buddies are coming to kick back on the deck. Anyways Happy Birthday Nick, we love you!

I know that I am a terrible updater on this thing, sorry! It is hard to find time to take a shower let alone get on the computer! Things are calming down now though. Hailey was born in December and came into the world with the highest pitch scream ever. A couple grueling months later we found out that she was allergic to milk protein and had to be put on this really expensive formula. I would say that she was in the doctor’s office at least once a week until about 2 1/2 months old. She is doing good now and we are trying to slowly wean her off of the formula and onto regular formula. She is growing like a weed and absolutely adores her brother. She is the most smiley baby if she is in a good mood. otherwise grab your earplugs. She is such a beautiful baby and makes our family complete!

This year Caleb was a cowboy for Halloween. Isn’t he the cutest cowboy you ever did see?

Finally got to go camping this year, it was cold but fun. The first night Caleb hit his head on a counter in the trailer and about knocked him out. I think I cried harder than Caleb. We brought our niece and nephews and gran. Grandpa and Grandma Watson was also there and Uncle Vernie and Aunt Wanda brought up the donuts that were so tempting to Caleb.
